That was what was supposed to already be going on. He asked for his release today though. Dooley said they'd release him but no to an SEC school. He wont be back.

its a huge loss, but its also a huge risk having someone with those problems around the team.
but he was a major talent, sorry to see him get mixed up with this.
back to BB, ive got no real dog in this fight, my disdain for UT is well known, and I have no real bias against Miami, but like ive said four times, and im a neutral observer, that ive never heard anyone call BB some of the things that some on here are claiming.
people who have talked to the kid outside of football, people that would not BS me, people that have no reason to lie about a kid's character, have told me nothing but postivies about BB, that he worked hard, and that his teammates all liked him.
all this primmadonna stuff, the bad teammate and a cancer stuff, ive never heard one inkling of it.
I didn't address you directly in this thread at all until you said this:Quote:
I just didn't and still don't know why you're making it personal and banging on me like a douche
I take issue with that. I had questions/concerns about Bryce's character as did a bunch of other teams/people while he was a recruit, more specifically, when he was a Miami verbal due to things I heard from people I trust, and things that he allowed to happen in his name that were orchestrated by Brian Butler.Quote:
I'm not going to hate him and denegrate him just because he chose not to play for the school I cheer for.
That's the 2nd thing you wrote towards me, and it wasn't even in response to something I said--but what Zack said.Quote:
(whom I'm sure Coeburn Cane now thinks is a first class piece of garbage and the true reason for the holocaust since he left Miami)
Yet another shot at me/who I root for. I could have went in for stuff like "UThug" when talking about the Vols in resposne to you, but I didn't. I stated my case, what I've been told, and what I've observed. I never ever intended to change your mind, but I wasn't going to lay down and take all these shots for something I've seen to be pretty self-evident when you take away all the biases on either side--that Bryce is arrogant and is likely leaving UT b/c he didn't get his way. Regardless of what Hubbs, Arthur Sr, Butler, whoever has to say, that's what I'm pretty sure the case is once all the BS is pushed out of the way.Quote:
I think he's getting a lot of crap from the retarded "U" fans around the country who claim him to be the Antichrist. Of course though "it's all about duh U!".
If you don't agree...that's fine. I have my reasons for believing that to be true--all of which do not stem from any hatred of UT/you, nor any bias for the Canes.
But I wasn't "banging on you" to be a douche, I was giving it back just as bad as you were giving it. It's happened before, won't be the last time, won't cause me to hate/dislike you either...that'd be silly as hell.
The only quote that was directed at you was the third one and it was in jest (of course I wont rag on you and call you names for not getting it). The rest are for the multitude of transient Miami fans everywhere who are bitter, judgemental, jaded, spiteful, and just stupid. If anyone should be **** talking the guy it should be a fan of the school he's leaving in a hard spot. Not the guy who's team finished second and is actually better off from not losing another body off an already depleted roster. If you want to say he's a quitter, a daddy's boy, yada, yada, yada, fine. Saying he's "demanded he start", "he's leaving because he wasn't given the starting job", or any of the other speculation/lies, is just untrue. He was in an equal if not better spot to earn the starting job than anyone else there. He had's more reps/yards than anyone else on the roster. Of course Miami fan's know more about the interworkings of what happens to UT football than people who cover it and people who follow it and read about it everyday.
The only reason he left is one simple word........"daddy". His dad wants both of his sons at Kansas State.
Rumor around Maryville is Douglas is hooked on pain killers. He is also unhappy about playing OL.
His backside is in AZ now.
